Feeling Good Institute Tele-Health TEAM Therapist

Feeling Good Institute:  TEAM Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Level 3

I provide Tele-Health Services through the Feeling Good Institute in Mountain View California where I have been training for the past seven years.  I am excited to be their only representative in Pennsylvania.  My work has been personally life changing and I am doing the best work of my career.  Check out the website for more information:  FeelingGoodInstitute.com

I have several free 15-minute slots if you would just like to “see if I am a good fit”. When you’re ready, make an appointment on the FGI website, or txt me for schedule options; I will create a client profile in the Simple Practice software.  You will be invited to create a portal where we can exchange messages, and complete forms and surveys confidentially.

Therapy has Two Goals:  Feeling Better and Getting Better

Feeling better means that you overcome your symptoms and solve the problems that brought you to therapy.  If you’re suffering from depression or panic attacks, feeling better means that the depression and panic attacks will disappear.  Feeling better is tremendously important!

Getting better means that you learn the tools to deal with any emotional or relationship problems that might emerge in the future.  Reality is that we all run into bumps in the road from time to time, but if you know how to deal with painful mood swings or conflicts with other people, they won’t be such a threat or a problem.

TEAM is highly effective, the average episode is measured in months, sometimes weeks, rather than what many people expect to be years.  Research shows that clients’ who do daily homework; reading, completing written techniques, and practicing new behaviors, progress more quickly, achieve their goals, and have higher satisfaction with treatment.

I assign Homework, and we review it at the beginning of each session.

I teach Mental HEALTH, so you can use it for the rest of your life.

We will use the final session to review our work and practice relapse prevention techniques.  If you ever need a tune-up in the future, you are welcome to return so we can crush the problem immediately.  Concluding therapy gracefully with good feelings between the client and the therapist is a wonderful reward for hard work, I look forward to that moment with you.

I am developing Psychoeducational Groups that are listed on the Sustain Change tab.  You can follow Group comments and get further information and discussion on Susan’s business Facebook page:  Sustain Change.
